Puck Van Heel
Gerardus Henricus "Puck" van Heel (21 January 1904 – 19 December 1984) was a Dutch footballer. He earned 64 caps for the Netherlands national football team, and played in the 1934 and 1938 World Cups. He also represented the Netherlands at the 1928 Summer Olympics. During his club career, he played for his home town club of Feyenoord. Normally an inside left and left wing half, Van Heel was a slow player but possessed considerable vision and technical ability and was particularly good passer. He held the Dutch caps record from 4 April 1937 (when he equaled the total of Harry Dénis) until 22 May 1979 (when his total was surpassed by Ruud Krol). Van Heel was born on the southside of Rotterdam, the fourth of eleven children, into a Roman Catholic family. His father worked in the shipyards of Rotterdam. KNVB Cup
The KNVB Beker (; en, KNVB Cup), branded as the TOTO KNVB Beker for sponsorship reasons, is a competition in the Netherlands organized by the Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) since 1898. It was based on the format of the English FA Cup. Outside the Netherlands, it is often referred to as the Dutch Cup. The tournament consists of all teams from the top four tiers of Dutch league football (Eredivisie, Eerste Divisie, Tweede Divisie and Derde Divisie), as well as the 24 semi-finalists (or replacements) of the six KNVB District Cups. The finals of the tournament traditionally takes place in De Kuip, and has been held there every season since the 1989 final. Stadion Feijenoord (), more commonly known by its nickname De Kuip (, the Tub), is a stadium in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was completed in 1937. The name is derived from the Feijenoord district in Rotterdam, and from the club with the same name (although the club's name was internationalised to Feyenoord in 1973). The stadium's original capacity was 64,000. In 1949, it was expanded to 69,000, and in 1994 it was converted to a 51,117-seat all-seater. In 1999, a significant amount of restoration and interior work took place at the stadium prior to its use as a venue in the UEFA Euro 2000 tournament, although capacity was largely unaffected. Leen Vente
Leendert Roelof Jan "Leen" Vente (14 May 19119 November 1989) was a Dutch association football, footballer who played as a forward (association football), striker. He earned 21 caps and scored 19 goals for the Netherlands national football team, and played in the 1934 FIFA World Cup, 1934 and 1938 FIFA World Cup, 1938 World Cups. Playing career Vente started in the Rotterdam Football Association for Semper Melior and later for Pro Patria. He eventually joined Neptunus where he initially also participated in athletics. In April 1936, Vente moved to Feyenoord, Feijenoord. He was one of the players that participated in the opening match of stadium De Kuip in 1937. Feyenoord played K. Beerschot V.A.C., Beerschot and won 5–2. Vente scored the first ever goal in the stadium, and finished the game with a hat-trick. Jan Linssen (19 January 1913 – 2 November 1995) was a Dutch footballer who was active as a forward. Linssen played his whole career at Feijenoord Feijenoord (), not to be confused with the Feijenoord (neighbourhood), Feijenoord neighbourhood (which is located in the Feijenoord district), is a district in Rotterdam and is located south of the Nieuwe Maas.
