''Public Administration Review'' is a bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal the field of public administration. It was established in 1940 and has been one of the top-rated journals in the field. It is the official journal of the American Society for Public Administration and is published by Wiley-Blackwell. The co-editors-in-chief are Jos Raadschelders Ohio State University and Katherine Willoughby University of Georgia. According to the ''Journal Citation Reports'', the journal has a 2022 impact factor of 8.3, ranking it 2nd out of 49 journals in the category "Public Administration". Fritz Morstein Marx
Fritz Morstein Marx or F. M. Marx (February 23, 1900 – October 9, 1969) was a German-American political and administrative scientist. History Fritz Marx was born in Hamburg on February 23, 1900. He studied law after a short military service in the First World War. In 1922 he was awarded his doctorate at the University of Hamburg and then entered the Administration Service of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. In 1930–31 he did research in the United States, funded by scholarships from the Rockefeller Foundation. In 1933 he emigrated to the US after the National Socialists came to power. He then worked in academia and as an administrator. From 1942 to 1960 he was a member of the US president's Bureau of the Budget. During this time he was also a research professor at Princeton University. From 1960 to 1962 he was dean at Hunter College in New York City. Vincent Alfred Ostrom (September 25, 1919 – June 29, 2012) was an American political economist, the Founding Director of the Ostrom Workshop based at Indiana University, and the Arthur F. Clifford Dwight Waldo (September 28, 1913 – October 27, 2000) was an American political science, political scientist and major figure in modern public administration. Waldo's career was often directed against a scientific/technical portrayal of bureaucracy and government that now suggests the term public management as opposed to public administration. Waldo is recognized the world over for his contributions to the theory of bureaucratic government.
