Public Access T.V. were an United States, American band formed in New York City in 2014. The group has supported notable acts such as Pixies (band), The Pixies, Weezer, The Killers, Kings of Leon, and others. They have also received critical acclaim from ''Rolling Stone'', ''The New York Times'', ''Fader'', ''Zane Lowe'', ''The Guardian'', ''USA Today'', ''NME'', BBC, and other outlets. The band's East Village loft exploded in the 2015 East Village gas explosion. History Front man John Eatherly dropped out of high school at the age of 16 to pursue music full-time. Dinosaur Jr. is an American rock band formed in Amherst, Massachusetts, in 1984, originally simply called Dinosaur until legal issues forced a change in name. The band was founded by J Mascis (guitar, vocals, primary songwriter), Lou Barlow (bass, vocals), and Murph (drums). After three albums on independent labels, the band earned a reputation as one of the formative influences on American alternative rock. Creative tension led to Mascis firing Barlow, who later formed Sebadoh and Folk Implosion. His replacement, Mike Johnson, came aboard for three major-label albums.
