Psy Vs. Psy
The second season of ''Psych'' originally aired in the United States on USA Network from July 13, 2007 to February 15, 2008. It consisted of 16 episodes. James Roday, Dulé Hill, Timothy Omundson, Maggie Lawson, and Corbin Bernsen reprised their roles as the main characters, and Kirsten Nelson joined the main cast. James Roday portrayed Shawn Spencer, a fake psychic detective who periodically consults for the Santa Barbara police department. A DVD of the season was released on July 8, 2008. Production Show creator Steve Franks remained in his position of showrunner. "I Know, You Know," performed by The Friendly Indians, continued to be used as the theme song, though it was modified for two episodes: "Gus's Dad May Have Killed an Old Guy," in which it was performed with a Christmas theme, and " Lights, Camera... James Roday Rodriguez (born James David Rodriguez, April 4, 1976) is an American actor, director and screenwriter. He is best known for starring on the USA Network series ''Psych'' as hyper-observant consultant detective and fake psychic Shawn Spencer. He currently stars in ''A Million Little Things,'' which debuted in 2018. Early life Rodriguez was born in San Antonio, Texas, as James David Rodriguez. He attended Taft High School in San Antonio. Melvin Damski (born July 21, 1946 in New York, New York) is an American director and producer of film and television. Life and career Mel Damski (born in New York, New York) is an American film director and film producer. Damski has Northern European Jewish heritage, one of four children of German refugee parents. Damski grew up in Roslyn, Long Island, New York and attended Colgate University on a football scholarship. He was a reporter for Long Island ''Newsday'' before moving to Los Angeles to attend the AFI Conservatory in 1972. Damski was the Producing-Director of ''Psych''. In addition to his long directing career, including 29 movies and scores of episodes, he has taught film and television at NYU, USC and AFI. He is also President of Lyrique Wine Company, a small family owned winery.
