''Psy 9th'' (stylized as ''PSY 9th'', ) is the eighth studio album by South Korean singer Psy. It was released on April 29, 2022, through P Nation, and distributed by Dreamus, Dreamus Company. This album is Psy's first release in five years since ''4X2=8, 4×2=8'' (2017) and his first to be published under his label (P Nation), which was established in January 2019. It is the first Psy album without the involvement of YG Entertainment since his departure on May 15, 2018, the album has twelve tracks including the lead single, "That That", featuring Suga (rapper), Suga of BTS, alongside various other guest appearances including Sung Si-kyung, Heize, Jessi (musician), Jessi, Hwasa, Crush (singer), Crush, and Tablo. Background and release The album was originally planned to be released in July 2019. On July 15, Psy exclusively pre-released the music videos for "Everyday", "Celeb", and "Happier". "When the Rain Begins to Fall" is a 1984 song written and composed by Peggy March, Michael Bradley, and Steve Wittmack, recorded by singers Jermaine Jackson and Pia Zadora, and released as a US single at the beginning of 1985 (In Europe in October, 1984). The song was performed in the movie ''Voyage of the Rock Aliens,'' in which Zadora played a lead role. Before being released in the US, this track went to number one in several European countries. Crying Nut () is a punk band from South Korea. They are often credited as being pioneers of the Korean punk and indie rock scenes. Duble Sidekick () is a South Korean music producer and songwriting duo consisting of lyricist Park Jang-geun and composer Mikey (also known as Chancellor and formerly a member of One Way). Woo Ji-ho (; born September 14, 1992), known professionally as Zico (), is a South Korean rapper, record producer, singer and songwriter. History ( ko, 히스토리) was a South Korean boy band formed by LOEN Entertainment in 2013. They debuted on April 26, 2013 with "Dreamer", featuring the narration of their labelmate IU. They were LOEN Entertainment's first boy group. They officially disbanded on May 12, 2017. Yoo Gun-hyung (Hangul: 유건형; born February 14, 1979) is a South Korean recording artist and record producer, best known for his work with PSY, and, in particular, their international hit Gangnam Style.
