Psarką
The Psarka is a river in the Świętokrzyskie Mountains of Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, southern-central Poland. It has its source at the northern foot of Bukowa Góra. It has a length of 20.5 kilometres and basin area of 89.5 square kilometres. It flows through the valley of Bodzentyńską, and later flows near the village of Radkowice-Kolonia and joins the Świślina, which is a right tributary of the Kamienna. Bodzentyn Castle
Bodzentyn Castle ( pl, Zamek w Bodzentynie) is a ruined castle in Bodzentyn, Poland. It was built in the second half of the fourteenth century. History At the beginning of the fourteenth century, the Archbishop of Kraków, Bishop of Kraków, Bodzanta, built a wooden mansion on a hill above the Psarką river. This manor house was destroyed fairly quickly and the later Bishop of Kraków Florian Mokrski erected a stone castle on a hill, surrounded by a moat. One of the greatest events in the history of the castle took place in 1410 when King Wladyslaw Jagiello visited it on pilgrimage to the Holy Cross before the Battle of Grunwald. The fifteenth and sixteenth centuries were a time of unprecedented prosperity of the castle. Kamienna (river)
Kamienna is a river in central Poland, a left tributary of the Vistula. Except for its source and mouth, the river flows in Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship. Its length is 138 kilometers, and the area of the basin 2007,9 km2. Geographers argue whether the source of the Kamienna is located in a swampy area near the village of Antoniow ( Szydłowiec County, 361 meters above sea level), or near the village of Borki (also Szydłowiec County). This results in differences with the length of the river. Most sources state that it is 138 kilometers long, but in some accounts, the length varies from 127 up to 156 kilometers. The mouth of the river lies near the village of Kepa Piotrowinska (Lipsko County). Unlike other rivers of southern Poland ( San or Nida), Kamienna does not owe its name to the Celts. The Świętokrzyskie Mountains ( pl, Góry Świętokrzyskie, ), often anglicized to Holy Cross Mountains, are a mountain range in central Poland, near the city of Kielce. Bodzentyn is a town in Kielce County, Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, Poland, with 2,168 inhabitants as of December 2021. Bodzentyn belongs to Lesser Poland, and was granted town charter in 1355.
