Proton EMAS
Proton EMAS is a range of concept cars designed by Italdesign Giugiaro and developed by Proton. It debuted at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show as a hybrid vehicle. "EMAS" is an acronym for Eco Mobility Advance Solution. The word "emas" means "gold" in Malay. Proton EMAS was planned to be Malaysia's and Proton's first global car and was expected to be in production by 2012. the concept car had not reached production. Proton's subsidiary Lotus Cars has shown a plug-in hybrid city concept car based on the EMAS named the Lotus Ethos. Specifications The EMAS is built on a heavily revised Toyota iQ platform including suspension and steering but everything else is new. Proton (automobile)
Proton Holdings Berhad (PHB; informally Proton) is a Malaysian automotive company and automobile corporation active in automobile design, manufacturing, distribution and sales. Proton was established in 1985 as Malaysia's sole national badged car company until the advent of Perodua in 1993. Proton Lekiu
The Proton Lekiu is a series of concept SUV produced by the Malaysian automobile manufacturer, Proton. It was first displayed at the 2010 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS 2010). Etymology The name "Lekiu" refers to a legendary warrior from Malacca called Hang Lekiu. The car is a member of the Pahlawan series of Proton's concept cars, which are named after warriors. Specifications It was based on the Proton Exora MPV, but with some cosmetic modifications on it. This includes a slightly revamped front grill, front and rear bumpers, head and tail lights, and a completely redesigned tailgate. Fresh to the car was the newly-designed alloy wheels, which featured 14 spokes. The Proton Jebat is a series of concept cars developed by Proton, a Malaysian automobile manufacturer, under the joint venture agreement from Mitsubishi Motors. MacPherson Strut
