Prothysana Felderi
''Prothysana felderi'' is a moth in the family Apatelodidae, whose larvae are known as shag-carpet caterpillars. It is found from Mexico, south to Panama and into South America, at least to Ecuador. Taxonomy Vitor Osmar Becker included ''Compsa saturata'' and ''Mimallo trilunula'' as synonyms of '' Prothysana terminalis'' in 2001, but excluded ''Prothysana felderi'' from this synonymy, retaining it as a separate species.Becker, V.O. (2001). "The identity of some unrecognized Neotropical Bombycoidea (Lepidoptera) described by Francis Walker". ''Revista Brasileira de Zoologia''. 18: 153-157. Kitching et al. 2018 places the genus in family Apatelodidae. Biology Recorded food plants for the two species of ''Prothysana'' (whose larvae cannot be distinguished from one another) include '' Philodendron'', ''Heliconia'', '' Welfia georgii'', '' Chamaedora tepejilote'', '' Piptocarpha poeppigiana'', ''Pentaclethra macroloba ''Pentaclethra macroloba'' is a large and common leguminous tr ...

Moth
Moths are a paraphyletic group of insects that includes all members of the order Lepidoptera that are not butterflies, with moths making up the vast majority of the order. There are thought to be approximately 160,000 species of moth, many of which have yet to be described. Most species of moth are nocturnal, but there are also crepuscular and diurnal species. Differences between butterflies and moths While the butterflies form a monophyletic group, the moths, comprising the rest of the Lepidoptera, do not. Many attempts have been made to group the superfamilies of the Lepidoptera into natural groups, most of which fail because one of the two groups is not monophyletic: Microlepidoptera and Macrolepidoptera, Heterocera and Rhopalocera, Jugatae and Frenatae, Monotrysia and Ditrysia.Scoble, MJ 1995. The Lepidoptera: Form, function and diversity. Oxford, UK: Oxford University Press; 404 p. Although the rules for distinguishing moths from butterflies are not well establishe ...

Lycianthes Synanthera
''Lycianthes'' is a genus of plants from the nightshade family (Solanaceae), found in both the Old World and the New World, but predominantly in the latter. It contains roughly 150 species, mostly from tropical America, with 35-40 species in Asia and the Pacific. Characteristics ''Lycianthes'' is apparently closely related to the chili and bell peppers (''Capsicum''). However, it was long confused with the nightshades (''Solanum''), and several little-known ''Solanum'' species presumably belong here.Solanaceae Source: A global taxonomic resource for the nightshade family Retrieved 25 June 2015. Pentaclethra Macroloba
''Pentaclethra macroloba'' is a large and common leguminous tree in the genus ''Pentaclethra'' native to the wet tropical areas of the northern Neotropics, which can form monoculture, monocultural stands in some seasonally flooded habitats. It has giant, bipinnate leaves shaped like feathers. It uses seed dispersal#Water, seed dispersal by water to establish itself in new areas, having floating seeds that are left behind after the waters recede after floods or tides. It has hard timber which is not very resistant to rot in the tropics, but it can be treated, has a pretty pink-red colour when dry, and has a number of uses. Oil used in cosmetics is extracted from the large seeds. In the northern Amazon rainforest, Amazon region the bark is used in herbal medicine as an antivenom, and in the Guianas the bark has been used as a fish poison. Despite their toxicity, the seeds are eaten by variegated squirrels, parrots and macaws, and serve as the nurseries of the larvae of the moth ''Car ...
