Prisión Fatal (2014) was a professional wrestling major event, produced by the Mexico based International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) professional wrestling promotion. The event took on August 27, 2014, at "Arena Naucalpan" in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, IWRG's main venue and was the fourth show promoted under that name. The main event was the eponymous ''Prisión Fatal'' ( Spanish for "Deadly Prison") Steel cage match where the last person remaining in the cage was forced to unmasked or shaved bald as per the match stipulation. The ''Prisión Fatal'' match included Alan Extreme, Chucho el Roto, Ciclon Black, Golden Magic, Metaleón, Relámpago, Tony Rivera and Yakuza. Ciclon Black, Golden Magic, Metaleón, Relámpago and Yakuza all put their mask on the line while Alan Extreme, Chucho el Roto and Tony Rivera risked their hair on the outcome of the match. International Wrestling Revolution Group
International Wrestling Revolution Group (Grupo Internacional Revolución in Spanish; the Spanish name is used for the promotion while the English initials are used for the title governing body) is a Lucha Libre promotion based in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. Founded in 1996 by Adolfo Moreno and since Moreno's death in late 2007 has been controlled by his sons Alfredo and Marco Moreno. IWRG has its own championships but like many Mexican promotions recognize champions from other promotions, occasionally allowing them to defend those titles on IWRG shows. In recent times the company has become a more direct competitor to Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion (AAA), acquiring a national television deal with TV Azteca and using a number of talent that have left CMLL or AAA to bolster their ranks and profile. Golden Magic (born July 18, 1990) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotions Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA), where he is a former AAA World Trios Champion. From 2011 through 2016 he was a regular for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) where he won the IWRG Intercontinental Welterweight Championship twice and the IWRG Junior de Juniors Championship as well as winning several of their annual '' El Castillo del Terror'' ("The Tower of Terror") events and Lucha Libre Elite (LLE) portraying a '' tecnico'' ("Good guy") wrestling character.. The Distrito Federal Trios Championship is a ''Trios'' (six-man) tag team Championship primarily promoted by the Mexican Lucha libre professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG). The title was created in 1986 and is controlled by the "Comisión de Box y Lucha Libre Mexico D.F." (''Mexico City Boxing and Wrestling Commission''), which regulates all matches where the title is defended, allowing it to only be defended in Mexico City and the State of Mexico. A wrestling mask is a fabric-based mask that some professional wrestlers wear as part of their in-ring persona or gimmick. Professional wrestlers have been using masks as far back as 1915 and they are still widely used today, especially in Lucha Libre in Mexico. History At the 1865 World's Fair, Theobaud Bauer debuted the mask, wrestling as "The Masked Wrestler" in Paris, France. He continued wrestling using the mask throughout France as part of a circus troupe in the 1860s before moving on to the United States in the early 1870s. In 1915, Mort Henderson started wrestling as the "Masked Marvel" in the New York area making him the first North American wrestler to perform with such a gimmick.
