The Priory City of Lincoln Academy (abbreviated as Lincoln Academy and formerly The City of Lincoln Community College) is a co-educational Secondary school, secondary Academy (English school), academy and Sixth form college, sixth form in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. An academy school in England is a state-funded school which is directly funded by the Department for Education and independent of local authority control. Kenneth Riches
Kenneth Riches (20 September 1908 – 15 May 1999) was an Anglican bishop during the second half of the 20th century. He served as the bishop of Dorchester from 1952 to 1957, and as the Bishop of Lincoln from 1957 to 1974. He was also the principal of Cuddesdon College, an Anglo-Catholic theological college, between 1945 and 1952. Early life and education Riches was born on 20 September 1908. He was educated at Colchester Royal Grammar School, a state grammar school in Colchester, Essex. He studied theology at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge, graduating with a first class Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1931. As per tradition, his BA was promoted to a Master of Arts (MA Cantab) in 1935. He then trained for Holy Orders at Cuddesdon College, an Anglo-Catholic theological college near Oxford. Stephen Keith Adlard (23 October 1950 – 18 September 2018) was an English footballer and first-class cricketer. Life Adlard played professional football for several seasons in England, as a goalkeeper. He was a member of the Nottingham Forest (first division) and Lincoln City (fourth division) teams, but never played at first-team level. The Priory Federation of Academies Trust is a non-profit charitable trust and the governing body for twelve academy schools in Lincolnshire and Leicestershire, England.
