Stéphane Valeri
Stéphane Valeri (born 1 March 1962) is a Monegasque politician and businessman. He served as the president of the National Council, which is the most powerful elected position in Monaco, between 22 February 2018 and 23 October 2022. He is the former Minister for Social Affairs and Health in Monaco. He served three terms as a National Councillor, and then as its president, but resigned halfway through the second term so that he could serve as a Government Minister. While growing up Valeri attended two high schools ( Lycée Albert Prime, and Lycée Masséna), as well as the European School of Management in Berlin. Valeri previously served as executive assistant for SBM's Sales-Marketing department, but transferred a year late to the Advertising-Promotions department. Following his departure from SBM, Valeri founded Monaco-based communications group PROMOCOM. Populism

Europe Elects is a poll aggregator that collects and publishes election-related data such as opinion polls in European countries. Genesis and history Europe Elects was founded in 2014 as a Twitter account. The project quickly rose to prominence, as it was the first account that gathered European polling and election data in one spot. National Council (Monaco)
The National Council (french: Conseil national) is the parliament (legislative body) of the Principality of Monaco. The body is composed of twenty-four members, who are elected from lists by universal suffrage. Councillors serve for five-year terms, and though it may act independently of the Prince, he may dissolve it at any time, provided that new elections be held within three months. The Council meets at least twice per year to vote on the country's budget and bills proposed by the prince's government. Ordinances (executive orders) are debated in the Council of Government, and once approved, must be submitted to the Sovereign Prince within eighty days for his signature, which makes them legally enforceable. List Of Political Parties In Monaco
The following is a list of political parties in Monaco. Traditionally Monaco is a one party dominant state with the National and Democratic Union (now, Rally & Issues) in power. Opposition parties were widely considered nonexistent. However, following the 2003 parliamentary election, the Union for Monaco (now Union Monegasque), a coalition of two parties, won 21 of the 24 seats in the National Council. Following the 2013 parliamentary election, however, Horizon Monaco, a coalition of, Rally & Issues, Synergie Monegasque and Union for the Principality, held the majority of parliamentary seats. Since 2016 a majority of the former ruling coalition have defected from the Horizon Monaco coalition and formed the New Majority coalition in partnership with Renaissance and this coalition now controls the National Council under the leadership of Christophe Steiner. 2023 Monegasque General Election
General elections were held in Monaco on 5 February 2023. The result was a landslide victory for the governing Monegasque National Union led by Brigitte Boccone-Pagès, which won all 24 seats on the National Council. The new council was sworn in on 16 February. Background The previous elections in February 2018 saw Stéphane Valeri's Priorité Monaco list win 21 of the 24 seats with more than 57% of the vote, with the party taking all seats filled by majority vote and five of the eight filled by proportional representation. Second- and third-placed Horizon Monaco and the Union Monégasque won two and one seats respectively. Valeri announced his retirement from political life in September 2022. He was succeeded by the vice-president of the National Council, Brigitte Boccone-Pagès, who became the first woman to take the presidency of the National Council.
