Print Quarterly
''Print Quarterly'' is an international academic journal devoted to the history and art of printmaking, from its origins to the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. It is published in London four times a year, in March, June, September, and December. It was founded in 1984 by the scholar, patron of the arts and business man David Landau, who served as editor for twenty-eight years. The current editor Rhoda Eitel-Porter joined the staff of the periodical in September 2010. The journal’s editorial board comprises notable academics and curators working in prints history and the graphic arts. The journal publishes recent scholarship on all things related to prints. It covers the Western tradition in the graphic arts as well as Asian, Latin-American and African printmaking. Articles consider the role and import of the print from a number of perspectives including those of social and cultural history, iconography, biography, and collecting. An academic journal or scholarly journal is a periodical publication in which scholarship relating to a particular academic discipline is published. Academic journals serve as permanent and transparent forums for the presentation, scrutiny, and discussion of research. David Kiehl

Ralph Hyde
Ralph Hyde (25 March 1939 – 5 June 2015) was a curator of graphic arts at the Guildhall Library in London, a pre-eminent historian and writer on the subject of Panoramic painting. On his retirement he lived for a time in France but returned to London to continue as an active scholar in the field. In addition to having curated the Panoramania exhibition at the Barbican, he co-authored with Felix Barker the richly illustrated book ''London As It Might Have Been,'' which illustrates numerous planned, but never built, fanciful structures in London. Martin Hopkinson
Martin Hopkinson & Co. was a British publishing house, based in London, founded in 1922. It was taken over by The Bodley Head in 1941, but continued to publish reprints of books in its list until the 1970s. Beginnings The company was established in December 1922 at 6, John Street, Adelphi, Westminster WC2. An announcement in ''The Bookseller and the Stationery Trades’ Journal'' stated that its business would be as “Publishers, book and print sellers, art journalists, literature agents, stationers, etc.” and the directors were named as M. Antony Griffiths
Antony Vaughan Griffiths, (born 28 July 1951) is a British museum curator and art historian, specialising in prints and drawings. From 1991 to 2011, he served as Keeper of the Department of Prints and Drawings, British Museum. He was Slade Professor of Fine Art at the University of Oxford for the 2014/2015 academic year. David Freedberg
David Freedberg is Pierre Matisse Professor of the History of Art and Director of the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University. Celina Fox
Celina Fox (born 4 May 1947) is an independent scholar specialising in the history of London in the 18th and 19th centuries. She held the role of Keeper of Paintings, Prints and Drawings at the Museum of London. Education and scholarship Fox read history at Newnham College, Cambridge, graduating in 1969. She was a recipient of a Kennedy Scholarship in the same year, which involved a spell studying at Harvard University.
