Pringle Cottage Museum is an open air museum at 79 Dragon Street, Warwick, Queensland, Warwick, Queensland, Australia. It is operated by the Warwick and District Historical Society. Buildings on site The nucleus of the museum is Pringle Cottage which is listed on the Queensland Heritage Register and remains on its original site. Other buildings have been relocated to the site to create the historical village. The village features buildings and artefacts that represent over a century of life in Warwick and surrounding districts. The Willowvale, Queensland, Willowvale Presbyterian Church was built by volunteer labour in 1909. It was relocated to Gillam Street in Glennie Heights, Queensland, Glennie Heights in the 1950s and relocated to the historical village in 1972. Pringle Cottage
Pringle Cottage is a heritage-listed cottage at 81 Dragon Street, Warwick, Southern Downs Region, Queensland, Australia. It was built from 1860s/1870s onwards by John McColluch. It is also known as John McCulloch's Cottage, Mountview, Milton College, and Miss Lukin's Boarding School. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992. History Pringle Cottage is a two storeyed sandstone building, located within the Warwick and District Historical Society's museum grounds. It was built by a local stonemason, John McCulloch as his own residence in the 1860s or 1870s. The land on which the cottage was built was first acquired by Deed of Grant by Edwin George Rigby in November 1862. This was transferred to John McCulloch in September 1863 when a new Certificate of Title was issued. Willowvale is a rural locality in the Southern Downs Region, Queensland, Australia. In the Willowvale had a population of 94 people. Geography Willowvale is predominantly farm land with no urban development. The Cunningham Highway forms the eastern boundary of the locality. Glengallan Creek flows from west to east through the northern part of the locality. Mount Juliet is located in the southern part of the locality. History Grayson Provisional School opened in 1908.
