Principal Secretary To Chief Minister
In the Pakistani Province of Sindh, the CM (Chief Minister) Secretariat is headed by the Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister (PSCM). The PSCM advises and assists the Chief Minister on all the official business routed through the CM Office, and because of this the PSCM is the most crucial aide to the Chief Minister. The current PSCM is Sajid Jamal Abro, an Officer of the Secretariat Service and a BPS-20 since August 2018. The PSCM is either a BPS-21 grade or BPS-20 Grade official. A Chief Minister ( ur, —), is the elected head of government of a province in Pakistan. The chief minister is the head of the provincial government, whereas in contrast, the governor is the nominal head, or the "de jure executive" and does everything under the guidance of the chief minister. The chief minister is elected by the provincial assembly, and is the leader of the provincial Legislature. The parliamentary system in Pakistan follows the Westminster system. Hence the ministers of the provinces are elected by the members of the legislature, and the majority party is invited to elect a leader, whose tenure lasts for five years. The Government of Sindh ( sd, حڪومت سنڌ) ( ur, ) is the provincial government of the province of Sindh, Pakistan. Its powers and structure are set out in the provisions of the 1973 Constitution, in which 30 Districts of 7 Divisions under its authority and jurisdiction. The province's head is the Chief Secretary is appointed by the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
