Prince Prem Purachatra
Prince Prem Purachatra ( th, พระวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าเปรมบุรฉัตร; ; 12 August 1915 – 24 July 1981) was a Thai prince who worked as a diplomat, English instructor, publisher, poet, playwright, and author. He was a son of Prince Purachatra Jayakara and grandson of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V). He served as president of the Siam Society, was a fellow of the Royal Institute, headed the Department of Modern Languages at Chulalongkorn University (now the Language Institute, which is housed in a building bearing his name), and published the weekly English-language magazine ''Standard''. He was married to Ngarmchit Purachatra. Ngarmchit Purachatra
Ngarmchit Purachatra na Ayudhya; ; (7 June 1915 – 18 October 1983), née Ngarmchit Sarasas,; also known after her husband as Princess Prem Purachatra, was a Thai princess by marriage and an advocate for charity and for women. She was by marriage part of the royal family of Thailand. Life Her birth name has been transliterated as Ngamchitti, Ngarmchit or Ngarm Jittra. She was the daughter of (Long Sundananda), who was lieutenant general. Her father was involved in the Siamese revolution of 1932 and was briefly Minister of Economic Affairs in 1937. A supporter of the Japanese cause, he lived from 1940 in his Japan exile, where he wrote a book about his country of origin. Her mother was Sawat Asavananda. Ngarmchit Sarasas had one elder brother, and three younger sisters. Sri Suriyendra ( th, ศรีสุริเยนทร, , ; 1767–1836) was the queen of Siam, wife of Phutthaloetla Naphalai, who was her cousin, and mother of Mongkut and Pinklao. She was later named, upon the coronation of her son Mongkut, as ''Krom Somdet'' Phra Sri Suriyendramataya. Princess Bunrot () was a daughter of Princess Sri Sudarak (เจ้าฟ้ากรมพระศรีสุดารักษ์) (sister of Phutthayotfa Chulalok) and her Chinese husband Ngoen Saetan (). Princess Bunrot lived with her mother in the Grand Palace and grew up with her maternal female cousins, the daughters of Phutthayotfa Chulalok. The name traces back to Plato's school of philosophy, founded approximately 385 BC at Akademia, a sanctuary of Athena, the goddess of wisdom and skill, north of Athens, Greece. Academic ranks are the titles, relative importance and power of professors, researchers and administrative personnel held in academia. At higher education institutions in Thailand, teaching officers are generally called "lecturers" (อาจารย์ ''achan'') and are collectively called "teaching staff" (คณาจารย์ ''khanachan''), whilst administrative officers are generally called "administrators" (ผู้บริหาร ''phuborihan'') and are collectively called "administrative staff" (คณะผู้บริหาร ''khana phuborihan'').
