Prince Hashem Bin Abdullah
Prince Hashem bin Abdullah ( ar, هاشم بن عبد الله; born 30 January 2005) is the fourth child and second son of King Abdullah II of Jordan and Queen Rania of Jordan, Queen Rania. Prince Hashem is part of the Hashemite family and is reportedly the 42nd-generation direct descendant of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. He shares his birthday with his father and is second in line to the Jordanian throne, after his elder brother, Hussein, Crown Prince of Jordan, Crown Prince Hussein. He currently studies at King's Academy, a boarding in Madaba. He was born at King Hussein Medical Center. Line Of Succession To The Jordanian Throne
Line of succession to the Jordanian throne is the line of people who are eligible to succeed to the throne of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The succession is regulated by Article 28 of the Constitution of Jordan. Succession rules The throne passes according to agnatic primogeniture, which can be bypassed by decree. The only people eligible to succeed are mentally sound Muslim men who are legitimate and agnatic descendants of Abdullah I of Jordan, born to Muslim parents. The king has the right to appoint one of his brothers as heir apparent. If the king dies without son or appointed brother, the throne devolves upon the person whom the National Assembly selects from amongst the descendants of Hussein bin Ali, King of Hejaz, the founder of the Arab Revolt. The Hashemites ( ar, الهاشميون, al-Hāshimīyūn), also House of Hashim, are the royal family of Jordan, which they have ruled since 1921, and were the royal family of the kingdoms of Hejaz (1916–1925), Syria (1920), and Iraq (1921–1958). Prince Faisal bin Hussein ( ar, فيصل بن حسين; born 11 October 1963) is a son of King Hussein and Princess Muna, and the younger brother of King Abdullah II. Hussein bin Abdullah ( ar, الحسين بن عبدالله, ''Al-Ḥusayn ibn ʿAbdullāh''; born 28 June 1994) is Crown Prince of Jordan as the son of King Abdullah II.
