	Prince Gustaf (film) ''Prince Gustaf'' (Swedish: ''Prins Gustaf'') is a 1944 Swedish historical film directed by Schamyl Bauman and starring Alf Kjellin, Mai Zetterling and Lennart Bernadotte.Qvist & von Bagh p.44 The film portrays the life of Prince Gustav, Duke of Uppland, a member of the Nineteenth Century Swedish royal family who composed a number of celebrated songs. It was shot at the Centrumateljéerna Studios in Stockholm. The film's sets were designed by the art director Bibi Lindström. 	Schamyl Bauman Magnus Schamyl Bauman (4 December 1893 – 28 February 1966) was a Swedish film director (in 1931-57). Born in Vimmerby, Småland. First studied law and modern languages at Uppsala University. In 1917 he began to work with translating text lines for international silent films (to Swedish), which he did successful throughout the 1920s. In this way he watched many different films by some of the best silent film directors in the world which started an interest in filmmaking and in the arts of film. In 1929-30 he started the film company Europafilm with Gustaf Scheutz where he made some of his early films as a director. 	Erik 'Bullen' Berglund Karl Erik "Bullen" Berglund (30 June 1887 – 27 April 1963) was a Swedish actor, director and writer. Berglund was one of Sweden's most popular male actors in Swedish films from the 1930s to the 1950s. He appeared in more than a hundred films. Biography Karl Erik Berglund was born at Lidingö in the Stockholm archipelago in Sweden. He was the son of Carl Victor Berglund and his wife Klara Erika Hausmetzger. In 1903 he was sent to in Paris to learn French. In 1905 he left to continue his studies in Berlin. Later that year he went to London to learn English. He made his stage debut in 1907 with Albert Ranft (1858-1938) at the Östermalmsteatern and Södra Teatern theaters in Stockholm. 	Carl Barcklind Carl Barcklind (1 June 1873 – 21 August 1945) was a Swedish stage actor, stage and film actor. Biography Carl Vilhelm Barcklind was born at Sala in Västmanland County, Sweden. He made his debut as an opera singer in 1907 at the Oscarsteatern. He was associated with Albert Ranft as an actor in operettas in his theaters 1898–1922. Barcklind was director of Stora Teatern in Gothenburg 1925–1927. He toured the United States from 1927 to 1928 and was employed by the Dramaten in 1930. Barcklind is buried at Norra begravningsplatsen in Stockholm.
