Route 18, also known as Cape Bear Road, is a , two- lane, uncontrolled-access, secondary highway in eastern Prince Edward Island. Its southern terminus is at Route 4 in High Bank and its northern terminus is at Route 4 in Murray River. The route is entirely in Kings County. Route description The route begins at its southern terminus and goes west to Guernsey Cove, where it turns right and continues northwest. The route turns left and then curves left in Beach Point to head southwest to a right turn in Murray Harbour. The route then goes west to its northern terminus. Route 18A Route 18A, also known as Robertson Road, is the suffixed route of Route 18. It is long and runs between Guernsey Cove and Murray Harbour. Murray Harbour is a community that holds rural municipality status in Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is located in southeastern Kings County. Located in the township of Lot 64, the community is named after General the Honourable James Murray, (1721–94), Governor of Quebec (1764–66). With an area of 3.89 km2 and an extensive waterfront facing a large natural harbour (also named Murray Harbour), the community's primary industry is fishing, most notably lobster and scallops. Kings County, Prince Edward Island
Kings County (2021 population 18,327) is located in eastern Prince Edward Island, Canada. It is the province's smallest, most rural and least-populated county. Kings County is also least dependent upon the agriculture industry compared with the other two counties, while being more heavily dependent on the fishery and forest industry. Comparatively large parts of the county are still forested and it hosts the province's largest sawmill.
