Prince Asempah
Prince Asempa (born 26 March 2000) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as goalkeeper for Ghanaian Premier League side Karela United. He previously played for Bechem United F.C. Making his debut at the age 16, he won the Ghanaian FA Cup in 2016 during his debut season, making him the youngest player to play in the final and the youngest player to win the cup. Early life Asempa was born on 26 March 2000, in Bechem in the Ahafo Region of Ghana. He had his secondary school education at Presbyterian Senior High School ''Bechem'' (''PRESEC'') where he played in the school's football team before being scouted by Eddy Ansah and joining Bechem United academy as a teenager. Club career After being scouted by Bechem United's goalkeeper's coach Eddy Ansah, Asempa joined the Bechem United academy in 2015–2016. Ghana National Under-17 Football Team
The Ghana national U-17 football team, known as the Black Starlets, is the youngest team that represents Ghana in football. They are two-time FIFA U-17 World Cup Champions in 1991 and 1995 and a two-time Runner-up in 1993 and 1997. Ghana has participated in nine of the 17 World Cup events starting with their first in Scotland 1989 through dominating the competition in the 1990s where at one time they qualified for 4 consecutive World Cup finals in Italy 1991, Japan 1993, Ecuador 1995 and Egypt 1997 to their most recent participation in South Korea 2007 where they lost in the World Cup Semi-finals 1–2 to Spain in extra time. Daniel Egyin
Daniel Egyin (born 5 November 1990) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as defender for Ghana Premier League side Medeama S.C. He previously played for and captained both Sekondi Hasaacas and Bechem United. Club career Sekondi Hasaacas Egyin played for Sekondi Hasaacas and served as captain of the side in 2016. During the 2016 Ghana Premier League, he served as captain and played in 26 league matches but could not prevent Sekondi Hasaacas from being relegated to the Ghana Division One League. As a standout performer within the season, he was linked with transfers to Medeama SC and Bechem United after his contract with Sekondi expired. 2019 Africa U-20 Cup Of Nations
The 2019 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations was the 15th edition of the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations (22nd edition if tournaments without hosts are included), the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for players aged 20 and below. In May 2015, it was decided that the tournament would be hosted by Niger. The top four teams of the tournament qualified for the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland as the CAF representatives. Mali won their first title, while the other qualified teams which finished second to fourth were Senegal, South Africa and Nigeria. Defending champions Zambia failed to qualify. 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup
The 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup was the 17th FIFA U-17 World Cup, a biennial international football tournament contested by men's under-17 national teams. Organised by FIFA, the tournament took place in India between 6 and 28 October 2017, after the country was awarded the hosting rights on 5 December 2013. The tournament marked the first time India have hosted a FIFA tournament and the first Asian country to host U-17 World Cup since United Arab Emirates in 2013. The attendance for this World Cup was a record 1,347,133 surpassing China's record in 1985 with 1,230,976. The matches were played in six stadiums in six host cities around the country, with the final taking place at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata. The 2017 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations, officially known as the Total U-17 Africa Cup Of Nations, Gabon 2017, was the 12th edition of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations (17th edition if tournaments without hosts are included), the biennial international youth football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for players aged 17 and below.
