Primorsky Krai (russian: Приморский край, r=Primorsky kray, p=prʲɪˈmorskʲɪj kraj), informally known as Primorye (, ), is a federal subject (a krai) of Russia, located in the Far East region of the country and is a part of the Far Eastern Federal District. The city of Vladivostok is the administrative center of the krai, and the second largest city in the Russian Far East, after Khabarovsk. The krai has the largest economy among the federal subjects in the Russian Far East, and a population of 1,956,497 as of the 2010 Census. The krai shares Russia's only border with North Korea, along the Tumen River in Khasansky District in the southwestern corner of the krai. Peter the Great Gulf, the largest gulf in the Sea of Japan, is located along the south coast. Primorskaya (Saint Petersburg Metro)
Primorskaya (russian: Примо́рская) is the station of the Nevsko–Vasileostrovskaya Line (Line 3) of the Saint Petersburg Metro. It was designed by V.N. Sokolov, M.I. Starodubov and V.A. Penno and opened on 28 September 1979. The opening of the station, situated in the western part of Vasilievsky Island, was designed to coincide with the expansion of the local neighborhoods. Like many stations built during the Cold War era, it was designed to double as a fallout shelter. Thus, the underground portion of the station features a set of blast doors a few meters before the escalator. The station's exit vestibule was eventually expanded to house one of the system's communication centers. The building also hosts a metro museum and Metropoliten cafe. Primorsky Range
The Primorsky Range (russian: Приморский хребет) is a range of mountains in Southern Siberia, part of the South Siberian Mountains. Administratively the range belongs to the Irkutsk Oblast, Russian Federation. The settlement of Buguldeyka, Olkhonsky District, is located in the range area.Google Earth Geography The Primorsky Range stretches northeastwards for about along the western shore of Lake Baikal from its southern end. It is located in the area of the sources of the Lena and to the north it connects with the Baikal Range, which also stretches along the lakeshore. Its eastern side is made mostly of rocky cliffs descending steeply to the shores of Lake Baikal, opposite Olkhon Island. The western slopes of the range are more gentle and are facing the Lena-Angara Plateau. The range includes highly developed karst forms.
