Ana Brnabić ( sr-cyr, Ана Брнабић, ; born 28 September 1975) is a Serbian politician serving as the prime minister of Serbia since 2017. She is the first woman and first openly gay person to hold the office. She entered government as the minister of public administration and local self-government from 11 August 2016 until 29 June 2017, under Prime Minister Aleksandar Vučić and Acting Prime Minister Ivica Dačić. In this role, Brnabić initiated reforms of central government services in Serbia. After he was inaugurated as the president of Serbia on 31 May 2017, Vučić proposed Brnabić as his successor in June 2017. Đorđe Petrović ( sr-Cyrl, Ђорђе Петровић, ), better known by the sobriquet Karađorđe ( sr-Cyrl, Карађорђе, lit=Black George, ;  – ), was a Serbian revolutionary who led the struggle for his country's independence from the Ottoman Empire during the First Serbian Uprising of 1804–1813. Born into an impoverished family in the Šumadija region of Ottoman Serbia, Karađorđe distinguished himself during the Austro-Turkish War of 1788–1791 as a member of the Serbian Free Corps, a militia of Habsburg and Ottoman Serbs, armed and trained by the Austrians. Matija Nenadović
Matija Nenadović ( sr-cyrl, Матија Ненадовић, or Mateja Nenadović sr-cyr, Матеја Ненадовић; 26 February 1777 – 11 December 1854), also known as Prota Mateja, was a Serbian archpriest, writer, and politician who served as the first prime minister of Serbia from 1805 to 1807. Ivan Stambolić
Ivan Stambolić ( sr, Иван Стамболић; 5 November 1936 – 25 August 2000) was a Serbian politician. He was a prominent member of the League of Communists of Serbia who served as the President of the Presidency of Serbia in the 1980s. In August 2000, he was assassinated. Desimir Jevtić
Desimir Jevtić (; 16 December 1938 — 13 October 2017) was a Yugoslav and Serbian mechanical engineer, university professor and politician who served as the President of the Executive Council of the Assembly of SR Serbia from 1986 to 1989. Biography Jevtić was born on 16 December 1938 in Oparić, which at the time was a part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He graduated in 1962 at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Belgrade, while he completed his postgraduate studies in 1978 and earned his PhD in the field of technical sciences. Dragutin Zelenović
Dragutin Zelenović ( sr, Драгутин Зеленовић; 19 May 1928 – 27 April 2020) was a professor at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Technical Sciences, served as rector of the University of Novi Sad (1987–89) and was in 1987 elected a corresponding member of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
