Primavera En Otoño
Primavera en otoño is a 1933 Spanish-language American romantic comedy directed by Eugene Forde and stars Catalina Bárcena. Plot Agustina has been away at school when she returns home to Madrid to see the mother she hasn't seen in over eight years. Delighted at the visit, Agustina's mother, Elena, is dismayed at her daughter's conservative appearance. Elena re-does Agustina's dress, which Agustina's boyfriend, Manolo, disapproves of when he arrives the next day. When Agustina's father Enrique arrives to woo Elena to return to him, he sees that the only way that Manolo's parents will approve of his marriage to Agustina is if he can remove Agustina from Elena's influence. He invites Elena to return with him to his ranch, but Elena wishes to remain in Madrid and pursue her opera career. The two live apart so that Enrique can see to his ranch while she pursues her career. Agostino Borgato
Agostino Borgato (June 30, 1871 – March 14, 1939), sometimes known as Al Borgato, was an Italian actor and director, before moving to Hollywood in the mid-1920s. Borgato acted and/or directed about fifteen films in his native Italy between 1915 and 1922. In the 1920s, he also acted on the stage in both Italy and England. In 1925 Borgato immigrated to the United States, where he began his American acting career in Herbert Brenon's silent film, ''The Street of Forgotten Men''. Adrienne D'Ambricourt (born Adrienne DuNontier; 2 June 1878 – 6 December 1957) was a French-American actress of the silent and sound film eras. She was born in Paris, and emigrated to the United States after the end of World War I. Biography She began acting in the 1922 Gershwin Broadway musical comedy, ''The French Doll'', in which she had one of the main roles, "Baroness Mazulier". She made her film debut in the 1924 silent film, '' The Humming Bird'', where she was one of Gloria Swanson's gang of thieves who turned into resistance fighters in World War I. Romualdo Tirado Pozo, aka Romualdo Tirado Pozo, (September 3, 1880 – October 17, 1963) was a stage actor and theatre impresario with a prolific career in Spanish language films produced in Hollywood during the advent of film talkies. Early life Romualdo Tirado was born in Quintanar de la Orden (Spain) on September 3, 1880. Orphaned from an early age, Romualdo began working as a child entertainer for the Juan Bosch Compañía Infantil, touring Spain and Latin America. Career Latin America During his stay in Argentina, Romualdo met Spanish stage actress Matilde Liñán (1881 - 1971), who was part of a Spanish operetta company she had joined with sister Filomena Liñán.
