Prima Facie (play)
''Prima Facie'' is a one-woman play by Suzie Miller. The plot follows Tessa, a criminal defense barrister whose view of the legal system changes after she is sexually assaulted. Productions Australia ''Prima Facie'' premiered in 2019, at the Stables Theatre in Sydney, Australia. The production, directed by Lee Lewis and starring Sheridan Harbridge, ran from 17 May to 22 June. It won the 2020 AWGIE Award for Drama and the 2020 Major AWGIE Award from the Australian Writers' Guild. This production was reprised in 2021, presented by Griffin Theatre Company and the Seymour Centre. West End The play made its West End premiere in 2022, at the Harold Pinter Theatre, with Jodie Comer starring as Tessa. It opened on 15 April and closed on 18 June. English singer-songwriter Self Esteem composed the soundtrack for the West End production, which she digitally released on 14 June 2022. Suzie Miller
Suzie Miller is an Australian/British playwright, librettist and screenwriter. In April 2022, Miller made her West End debut with ''Prima Facie'' starring Jodie Comer. Overview Miller is a contemporary international playwright, librettist and screenwriter drawn to complex human stories often exploring injustice. She has often been described as a courageous writer and won the Kit Denton Fellowship for writing with courage in 2008. Born in Melbourne, she now resides between London and Sydney. Ibiza
Ibiza (natively and officially in ca, Eivissa, ) is a Spanish island in the Mediterranean Sea off the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula. It is from the city of Valencia. Jockstrap are an English musical duo consisting of Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye, who met at London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama in 2016. The duo's music combines Ellery's half-whispered vocals and string arrangements with Skye's electronic production. Jockstrap released their first EP, ''Love Is the Key to the City'', in 2018. Rebecca Lucy Taylor (born 15 October 1986), also known by her stage name as Self Esteem, is an English singer-songwriter and actress. The inspiration for her stage name comes from the evolution of Taylor's confidence from her early 20s. Early life Taylor was born in Rotherham, England. Her father was a steelworker, and her mother was a secretary. Career Taylor was previously a member of folk duo Slow Club, which formed in Sheffield in 2006. The band consisted of multi-instrumentalists Charles Watson and Taylor, with Watson on the piano, Taylor on the drums, and both performing guitars and vocals. John Golden Theatre
The John Golden Theatre, formerly the Theatre Masque and Masque Theater, is a Broadway theater at 252 West 45th Street (George Abbott Way) in the Theater District of Midtown Manhattan in New York City.
