Giovanni Prezioso
Giovanni Prezioso (December 23, 1957-February 28, 2023) became General Counsel of the US Securities and Exchange Commission in April 2002. Prezioso served in that post under three different chairmen; Harvey Pitt, William Donaldson, and Christopher Cox. During his tenure the SEC started over 2,000 actions and 100 rules changes. It also implemented the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. He also reduced the backlog of cases awaiting SEC resolution In early 2006, Prezioso stepped down from the post and rejoined his prior law firm, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, as a partner resident in the firm's Washington, DC office. He was born in Boston to Dr. and Mrs. Fausto Maria Prezioso of Towson, Maryland. Mario Francesco Prezioso (born 15 April 1996) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for club Ancona on loan from Potenza. Roman W. Prezioso, Jr. (born June 29, 1949) is an American politician and former West Virginia state senator representing the 13th district which comprises parts of Marion and Monongalia counties. He is a member of the Democratic Party. Background Roman Prezioso was born on June 29, 1949. He had been an educator and administrator prior to his election to public office. Prezioso & Marvin is an Italo dance dance trio group founded in 1999 and made up of brothers Andrea and Giorgio Prezioso (known as Prezioso) in addition to Alessandro Moschini, known as Marvin. Prior to 1999, and starting from 1993, the brothers Andrea and Giorgio Prezioso were known as the duo Prezioso . With Giorgio Prezioso taking a hiatus in 2007 to move to his own project Giorgio Prezioso & Libex (with DJ Libex), Prezioso & Marvin became a duo. But Giorgio returned to the formation in 2009. Both albums ''Back to Life'' (2000) and ''We Rule the Danza'' (2002) as well as earlier hits from 1999 to 2003 period (including "Tell Me Why", "Rock the Discothek", "Emergency 911", "Let's Talk About a Man" and "Voglio Vederti Danzare") were all credited to Prezioso featuring Marvin.
