President Of Montenegro
The president of Montenegro () is the head of state of Montenegro. The current president is Jakov Milatović since 20 May 2023. The official residence of the president is the Blue Palace in Cetinje. The president is constitutionally limited to a single five-year Term of office, term of office. A candidate must be a citizen of Montenegro and have lived there for at least ten of the prior fifteen years. Jakov Milatović
Jakov Milatović (, ; born 7 December 1986) is a Montenegrin politician and economist who is the incumbent president of Montenegro, serving since May 2023. He previously served as the minister of economic development in the cabinet of Zdravko Krivokapić from 2020 to 2022, and as an economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London and Podgorica. He was a co-founder and until 24 February 2024 the deputy leader of Europe Now!, a liberal and pro-European political party that is the largest single party in the Montenegrin parliament. Taking office in a landslide presidential election at the age of 36, Milatović is the youngest person to hold the office of president in independent Montenegro, as well as the world's sixth-youngest serving state leader. Aleksa Bečić
Aleksa Bečić (; born 4 August 1987) is a Montenegrin politician, current Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro since 2023, who served as the president of the Parliament from 2020 until 2022. He is the founder and current president of the centrist political party Democratic Montenegro. Early life and education Bečić was born in Cetinje, Montenegrin Old Royal Capital, at that time part of the Socialist Republic of Montenegro of SFR Yugoslavia. Goran Danilović (Serbian Cyrillic: Горан Даниловић; born 1971) is a Montenegrin politician, former member of Parliament of Montenegro and former Minister of Internal Affairs. In 2016 he was the founder and was named the first president of the conservative political party called United Montenegro. Biography Early life Danilović was born in 1971 in Titograd (now Podgorica) which at the time was a part of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
