Marist College
Marist College is a private university in Poughkeepsie, New York. Founded in 1905, Marist was formed by the Marist Brothers, a Catholic religious institute, to prepare brothers for their vocations as educators. In 2003, it became a secular institution. In 1929, Marist became accredited by the state to offer a wider range of degrees in the arts and sciences. Today, Marist offers 47 bachelor's programs, 11 master's programs, one doctoral program and 2 certificate programs in many academic disciplines. A county executive, county manager or county mayor is the head of the executive branch of government in a United States county. The executive may be an elected or an appointed position. Thomas John McDonnell
Thomas John McDonnell, D.D., (August 18, 1894 – February 25, 1961) was the Roman Catholic coadjutor bishop, ''cum jure successionis'', of what is now the Roman Catholic Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, West Virginia. Education and pastoral assignment Thomas John McDonnell was born in New York City. He was ordained to the priesthood for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York on September 20, 1919. Howard Mills III
Howard D. Mills III (born May 29, 1964) is an American insurance consultant and former politician from Goshen, New York. He served as New York's Superintendent of Insurance from 2005 to 2006, and previously held elective office in both the New York State Assembly and the Town of Wallkill. In 2004, he ran against Senator Charles Schumer of New York for the United States Senate but was defeated. Early life and education Mills was born in Goshen, New York. The Mills family were prominent farmers in Orange County for 200 years. Mills' father, Howard Mills, Jr., became a real estate developer who converted most of the farmland into residential and business developments. Mike Martucci is an American politician from the state of New York. A Republican, Martucci represented the 42nd district of the New York State Senate, based in the western Hudson Valley, from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022. Early career At age 22, Martucci founded Quality Bus Service, a school bus business which provided service to the Greenwood Lake Union Free School District. The company eventually grew to include over 550 employees and 350 buses, and currently operates in school districts across Orange County and Ulster County. Quality Bus Service was sold in April 2018. Bryan T. Kaenrath (born 1983) is an American politician from Maine. Kaenrath graduated from the University of Maine in 2006 and was elected to the Maine House of Representatives that year representing the western end of South Portland. He was re-elected in 2010 for his 3rd term. In January 2012, Kaenrath announced his candidacy for the Maine Senate District 7. Cynthia Dill vacated the seat in order to run for the United States Senate.
