The Premio Reverberi (or Oscar del Basket) is a basketball prize that is awarded annually by the city of Quattro Castella, Italy, in collaboration with the Italian Basketball Federation and the Lega Basket, which is the organizing body of Italy's top-tier level professional basketball league, the LBA. It is dedicated to the memory of the late Italian basketball referee Pietro Reverberi. Massimo "Bullo" Bulleri (born 10 September 1977) is an Italian former professional basketball player and last covered the role of head coach for Pallacanestro Varese. During his playing career, standing at a height of tall, he played at the point guard and shooting guard positions. Professional playing career During his pro club career, Bulleri won the European-wide secondary level FIBA Saporta Cup's 1998–99 season championship, and two Italian League championships, in 2002 and 2003. Marco Stefano Belinelli (; born 25 March 1986) is an Italian professional basketball player and the team captain for Virtus Bologna of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. Cesare Pancotto (born January 8, 1955) is an Italian professional basketball coach who is an assistant coach for Napoli Basket of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA). Coaching career After a good career spent playing point guard in his native Porto San Giorgio, Pancotto began coaching in 1982 at the age of 27, taking the bench of his hometown team, U.S. Sangiorgese, at only three matches from the end of the season, gaining promotion to Serie B. In 1984 Sangiorgese, always guided by Pancotto, was promoted to A2, the Italian Second Division. Giacomo Galanda
Giacomo "Jack" Galanda (born 30 January 1975) is a retired Italian professional basketball player. He was a forward-center of 2.10 m. (6 ft. 10¾ in.) and 110 kg. (243 lbs.). Professional career Galanda was born in Udine, Friuli. He grew up in the Scaligera Basket Verona junior teams, with which he made his debut in the Italian League on October 17, 1993. After four years in the Verona team, he was traded to Fortitudo Bologna. However, in his first year (1997–98) he was utilized as a reserve to Gregor Fučka, and had a limited impact. In 1998, he was loaned to Pallacanestro Varese, where he was a leader of the team that, surprisingly, won the Italian League championship.
