Premana (Lecchese: ) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about northeast of Milan and about north of Lecco. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 2,285 and an area of .All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat. Orobi
The Orobii (also Orobi, Oromobi or Orumbovii) were a Celto-Ligurian tribe dwelling around present-day Como and Bergamo during the Iron Age. Valsassina
250px, The Valsassina plateau. Valsassina is a valley in the Alps of Lombardy, northern Italy, within the province of Lecco. It is included between the Grigne range from West, and the Bergamo Prealps which, in a half-circle stretching from North to East, separate it from the valley of the area of Bergamo and the Valtellina. Valsassina also reaches the Lecco's branch of Lake Como at Lecco itself and Bellano. The valley is run by the Pioverna stream, which flows from the Grigne to the Lake Como. It's peculiar because it flows South-to-North. Morphology Valsassina is enclosed between the group of Grigne, to the west, and the group of the Bergamo Alps, which, in a semi-circle from the east to the north, separate it from the valleys of Bergamo and Valtellina.
