''Prema Nagar'' () is a 1971 Indian Telugu-language romance film directed by K. S. Prakash Rao and produced by D. Ramanaidu under the Suresh Productions banner. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Vanisri with music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. The film is based on a novel of the same name by Koduri Kausalya Devi. ''Prema Nagar'' was an all time blockbuster, grossing ₹1.45 crores at the box office. D. Acharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu ) (7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was an Indian poet, lyricist, playwright, and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He received the state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 1981 for "Andamaina Lokamani" from the film Tholi Kodi Koosindi, ''Tholikoodi Koosindi''. He is popularly known as ''Manasu Kavi ('').
