Prefectural Earth Defense Force
is a Japanese manga series by Kōichirō Yasunaga which ran in Shōnen Sunday Zōkan beginning in 1983. The manga was written as a parody gag manga inspired by the tokusatsu series '' Ultraseven''. An anime OVA based on the manga was released in 1986. The anime was released on DVD in North America by ADV Films on April 18, 2006. Summary The evil secret society known as the Telephone Pole Gang seeks to take over the world by first taking over a certain prefecture on Kyūshū (they never specify which one). In order to thwart the evil plans of the Telephone Pole Gang, Imazuru High School creates the Prefectural Earth Defense Force, composed of problem teachers and students from the school. They are also joined by a cyborg transfer student from India. The Telephone Pole Gang is commanded by Chilthonian (full name ). Hirotaka Suzuoki
was a Japanese actor, voice actor and narrator from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture who graduated from Tokyo Keizai University. His best known roles include ''Mobile Suit Gundam'' ( Bright Noa), '' Captain Tsubasa'' ( Kojirou Hyuga), ''Saint Seiya'' ( Dragon Shiryū), ''Dragon Ball'' (Tenshinhan), ''The Transformers'' (Starscream), ''Ranma ½'' ( Tatewaki Kuno), ''Rurouni Kenshin'' (Saitō Hajime), ''Pokémon'' (Giovanni), and ''Invincible Steel Man Daitarn 3'' (Banjō Haran). He was also the official Japanese dub-voice for Tom Cruise and John Travolta. In 2006, Suzuoki died at the age of 56 as a result of lung cancer. Kentarō Haneda
was a Japanese pianist, composer and arranger. He composed for popular anime series, movies and video games. His popular name was Haneken. Biography Haneda was born in Tokyo, Japan. After graduating from the Toho Gakuen School of Music, he taught as a professor at the Tokyo College of Music. He was best known as the composer of ''Wizardry''—which was ported to NES and SNES console by Ascii at early 1990—, ''The Super Dimension Fortress Macross'' series, ''Barefoot Gen'', ''Ys Symphony'', ''Symphony Sorcerian'' and '' Genso Suikoden Ongaku-shu''.
