''Preamar'' is a Brazilian drama television series that premiered on HBO Latin America. The series was produced by HBO's local partner, Pindorama Filmes. It first aired on May 6, 2012, being broadcast on Sundays at 9 O'clock pm (local Brazilian time: UTC -3). The plot of the series explores the environment of the informal trade that exists on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro, which, according to series production, generates about $7 billion per year. Hugo Angeli Bonemer (b. June 25, 1987 ) is an actor, voice actor, presenter and musician from Brazil. He played the leading role of the brazilian version of Broadway’s Hair, the musical also played Ayrton Senna, On his stage biography and was leading role of Rock in Rio - The Musical, in Brazil and in Portugal. HBO Latin America
HBO Latin America was a company that owned and distributed several television channels in the region of Latin America. It was originally founded as a joint venture between Time Warner and Ole Communications in 1991 with the launch of HBO in the region. The HBO Brazilian channel was launched in 1994. In 1990s Sony and Disney became shareholders and left in 2010. The company later began distributing other channels from companies such as Turner, Sony, A&E and NBCUniversal. In October 2019, WarnerMedia announced an agreement with Ole to acquire the latter's minority interest. HBO Brasil, which is another joint venture of HBO with Ole was not affected by the transaction.
