Prashant Singh Rawat
Prashant Singh Rawat (born 15 August 2000) is an Indian professional basketball player, last playing for Uttarakhand of the National Basketball Championship. Personal Prashant Singh Rawat is the son of Narendra Singh Rawat, a former India national team player who represented his home country from 1993 to 2000 at several international events in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and China. After this, Narendra Singh Rawat was appointed as a physical teacher in a private school in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand. During this time he continued to practice basketball with Prashant. In later years Prashant went on to Motiram Baburam Government Post Graduate College where he was part of the basketball team. In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The 2022 FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup was the fifth edition of the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup. The games of the final tournament were held in Singapore between 6 July and 10 July 2022. Participating teams The FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup returns for its fifth edition this year and will see 53 teams from 30 countries battling it out to win the trophy. Set to take place from July 6-10 at the event plaza of Marina Bay Sands, the game - with its rising popularity over the years - has reached a significant high in participation numbers. 2022 FIBA Asia Cup
The 2022 FIBA Asia Cup (formerly known as the FIBA Asia Championship) will be the 30th continental basketball championship in Asia. The tournament is organised by FIBA Asia. Originally intended to be the 2021 edition, the tournament was initially scheduled to take place between 3 and 15 August 2021, but it was postponed due to 17 to 29 August 2021 to avoid scheduling conflict with the 2020 Summer Olympics which was postponed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was later postponed again to 12 to 24 July 2022. Indonesia will be the tournament host for second time after staging the 1993 edition. Australia is the defending champion. FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualification
The FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification is the process that a national basketball team goes through to qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup finals. Qualifiers are held within four FIBA continental zones Africa, Americas, Europe, and Asia-Oceania play in a combined Asia-Pacific region to qualify for the FIBA Basketball World Cup, which are organized by their respective confederations. One extra berth is allocated for the specific continental zone that hosts the event, in addition to the set berths allotted for the region. The hosts of the World Cup receive an automatic berth.
