Pran Buri Forest Park
The Pran Buri Forest Park ( th, วนอุทยานปราณบุรี) is a protected area in Thailand. It is at the mouth of the Pran Buri River to the Gulf of Thailand in Pran Buri District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. Pran Buri Forest Park was founded either in 1974 or on 30 September 1982 by the Forestry Department after Queen Sirikit visited Pak Nam Pran Buri Village in Pran Buri and was inspired to support the growing of more trees along the coastline. Prachuap Khiri Khan
Prachuap Khiri Khan ( th, ประจวบคีรีขันธ์, ) is a town in western Thailand. It is the capital of Prachuap Khiri Khan Province and is on the coast at one of the narrowest stretches in Thailand, only from the border with Myanmar at Dan Sing Khon in the Tenasserim Hills. The area has large pineapple and coconut industries, in addition to being popular with Thai tourists. The town is 291 km south of Bangkok by road. There are several kinds of protected areas, which vary by level of protection depending on the enabling laws of each country or the regulations of the international organizations involved. The Pran Buri River (, , ) is a river in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Thailand, on the Kra Isthmus of the Malay Peninsula. Queen Sirikit ( th, สิริกิติ์; ; ); born ''Mom Rajawongse'' Sirikit Kitiyakara ( th, สิริกิติ์ กิติยากร; ; 12 August 1932) is the queen mother of Thailand. She was Queen of Thailand as the wife of Bhumibol Adulyadej (or King Rama IX) and is the mother of the current King Vajiralongkorn (or King Rama X).
