Pramod Madushan
Pramod Madushan Liyanagamage (born 14 December 1993) is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer who currently plays Twenty20 internationals for the national team. He is a past pupil of Theraputta National School, Hambantota. Domestic career He made his first-class debut for Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club in the 2014–15 Premier Trophy on 5 February 2015. He made his List A debut for Jaffna District in the 2016–17 Districts One Day Tournament on 15 March 2017. In April 2018, he was named in Kandy's squad for the 2018 Super Provincial One Day Tournament. In July 2022, he was signed by the Dambulla Giants for the third edition of the Lanka Premier League. 2022 Lanka Premier League
The 2022 Lanka Premier League also known as Mazaplay LPL T20, for sponsorship reasons, was the third edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) Twenty20 franchise cricket tournament in Sri Lanka. It was originally scheduled to take place from 31 July to 21 August 2022 with Sri Lanka Cricket initially having promised to conduct LPL tournament targeting the August window. The ODI series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka were scrapped due to the hosting of this tournament. However, in July 2022, the tournament was postponed due to the economic crisis in Sri Lanka, with the aim to play it later in 2022. The tournament was later rescheduled to be held from 6 to 23 December 2022. The tournament also emphasized to promote and boost both the economy and international tourism. The 2022 Asia Cup (also known as DP World Asia Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the 15th edition of the Asia Cup cricket tournament, with the matches played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) during August and September 2022 in the United Arab Emirates. Originally scheduled to be held in September 2020, the tournament was postponed in July 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
