Pramms Memorial
The Pramms Memorial is a Listed flat horse race in Sweden open to thoroughbreds aged four years or older. It is run over a distance of 1,730 metres (1 mile and 132 yards) at Jägersro in May. History The event is named in memory of Per-Erik Pramm, a successful owner-breeder in Sweden. It was established in 1984, and the first running was won by Avrio. For a period the Pramms Memorial held Listed status. It was promoted to Group 3 level in 2012. and relegated back to Listed level in 2016. Unusually for a Group or Listed race in Europe, the Pramms Memorial is run on a dirt track. Jägersro
Jägersro is a neighbourhood of Malmö, situated in the Borough of Husie, Malmö Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden. Jägersro trav & galopp is a horse racing facility located in the neighbourhood. It was opened in 1907 and is the oldest one of its kind in the country. It is also southern Sweden's biggest facility for harness racing and thoroughbred horse racing. Stéphane Pasquier
Stéphane Pasquier (born 17 January 1978 in Paris) is a French flat racing jockey. In October 2006, he won the 85th Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. He began as an apprentice for the trainer Robert Collet, and rode in his first race on 6 December 1994, on Raspoutine at Saint-Cloud Racecourse. His first victory was in his second race, riding Floris at Amiens racecourse on 9 September 1995. He is a turbulent and strong character, and confesses to have lost his way in 1997, needing guidance from Robert Collet to help him back. Pasquier won his first Listed Race in 1999, then his first Group 3 race in May 2001, riding Acceleration in the Prix Corrida. During the winter of 2001–2002, he rode in Singapore and on returning to France won his first Group 2 race, the Prix Greffulhe. George Baker (jockey)
George Baker is a retired British Classic-winning jockey. Baker is the son of a farrier from Lambourn. After leaving school, in July 1999, he joined trainer Mark Usher and had his first winner at Wolverhampton on 4 December on Beauchamp Magic. He finished the year with 2 wins from 38 runs. In 2006, he was second in the Oaks on Rising Cross, but his first significant victory came in the Listed Winter Derby Trial in 2007. Later that season he added his first Group race when winning the Group 3 Oak Tree Stakes at Goodwood. At six feet tall, he was one of the tallest flat jockeys in Britain, which considerably restricted his racing opportunities. Over the next few years, Baker built a very successful partnership with top miler Premio Loco, trained by Chris Wall. Kim Andersen (jockey)
Kim Andersen (born 1963 in Klampenborg, Denmark) is a jockey in Scandinavian horse racing. Andersen grew up at the racecourse in Klampenborg where his father, John Andersen, was a jockey in the 1960s. He was keen to follow in his father's footsteps after finishing his education. His apprenticeship was postponed for 3 years because his father retired due to ill health after being in the business over in 20 years. His parents thought it was best if he first got an education. After finishing school Kim Andersen trained as a confectioner before he first became an apprentice to the champion trainer Franz Nutz. At the time Nutz already had a number of apprentice jockeys in his care who helped teach Andersen the business. The first year as an apprentice there were no victories, but he persevered and won his first race a year later.
