Prak Sokhonn
Prak Sokhonn ( km, ប្រាក់ សុខុន; born 3 May 1954) is a Cambodian politician, diplomat and journalist, currently serving in the Cabinet of Cambodia as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia since 2016, and Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia since 2018. Early life and education Sokhonn was born on 3 May 1954 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Sokhonn studied law in Phnom Penh between 1972 to 1975. Career Sokhonn entered the Kampuchean People's Revolutionary Armed Forces in 1979, eventually becoming a 4-star general as well as the Spokesman of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. He also spent three years as an ambassador in Europe. He was the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications from 2013 to 2016. He was sworn in as foreign minister on April 5, 2016. His predecessor Hor Namhong retired from his post as foreign minister on 4 April 2016 after 17 years in office, though remained as a deputy prime minister. Excellency
Excellency is an honorific style given to certain high-level officers of a sovereign state, officials of an international organization, or members of an aristocracy. Once entitled to the title "Excellency", the holder usually retains the right to that courtesy throughout their lifetime, although in some cases the title is attached to a particular office, and is held only for the duration of that office. Erywan Yusof
Erywan Yusof () is the incumbent 2nd Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei and ASEAN's special envoy to Myanmar. ''The Cambodia Daily'' is an English and Khmer language news site that writes and aggregates news about Cambodia. It was originally an English-language daily newspaper based in Cambodia from 1993 to 2017, and was considered a newspaper of record for Cambodia. According to the owners, the 2017 closure was the result of a dispute with the Cambodian government over a US$6.3 million tax bill, which was disputed by the newspaper's ownership as politically motivated. The newspaper ceased its daily print newspaper, but still maintains a small online presence, and is no longer located in Cambodia. Royal Cambodian Armed Forces
The Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF; km, កងយោធពលខេមរភូមិន្ទ ) is Cambodia's national military force. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief is King Norodom Sihamoni. Since 2018, General Vong Pisen has been the Commander-in-Chief of the RCAF as head of the Army, Navy, Air Force and the Gendarmerie. The armed forces operate under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of National Defence. Kampuchean People's Revolutionary Armed Forces
The Kampuchean People's Revolutionary Armed Forces (KPRAF), also the Khmer People's Revolutionary Armed Forces were the armed forces of the People's Republic of Kampuchea, the ''de facto'' government of Cambodia 1979–1990. It was formed with military assistance from Vietnam, which furbished the fledgling armed forces with equipment and training, with the initial task of countering the sustained guerrilla campaign being waged by the Coalition Government of Democratic Kampuchea.
