Isaiah Faber (born March 31, 1999), known professionally as Powfu, is a Canadian singer and rapper. He is the son of Dave Faber from the band Faber Drive. He amassed popularity following the release of his first charting single, " Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)", featuring Beabadoobee which peaked at number 23 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Career In February 2020, he released the song " Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)", which featured a sample of Beabadoobee's debut single "Coffee". The single has received over 1 billion streams on Spotify as of June 2021, and peaked at number 23 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 after amassing popularity through the video-sharing app TikTok. After re-releasing the single a year after, Powfu signed with Columbia Records in the US, in conjunction with Robots + Humans in the UK. "Death Bed (Coffee for Your Head)", stylised in lowercase as "death bed (coffee for your head)", is a song by Canadian recording artist Powfu, featuring Filipino-British singer-songwriter Beabadoobee. The song was initially uploaded to SoundCloud and YouTube in 2019; following Powfu signing to Columbia Records and Robots + Humans, the song was released on streaming services on February 8, 2020. The song samples the 2017 song "Coffee" by Beabadoobee, who is credited as a featured artist. The song went viral on the video sharing app TikTok and through radio airplay in early 2020. Beatrice Kristi Ilejay Laus (born 3 June 2000), known professionally as beabadoobee (; '), is a Filipino-British singer-songwriter. Faber Drive is a four-piece Juno Award-nominated Canadian pop punk band from Mission, British Columbia, formed in 2004. The band consists of lead vocalist Dave Faber, lead guitarist Jordan Pritchett, bass guitarist Jeremy "Krikit" Liddle and drummer Seamus O'Neill. Their biggest influences are U2, The Police, Def Leppard, Jimmy Eat World, Stryper and Winger. They have toured with bands such as Hedley, Stereos, Marianas Trench, Simple Plan and Metro Station. The Canadian Hot 100 is a music industry record chart in Canada for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. The Canadian Hot 100 was launched on the issue dated March 31, 2007, and is currently the standard record chart in Canada; a new chart is compiled and officially released to the public by ''Billboard'' on Tuesdays but post-dated to the following Saturday.
