Power 98 (radio Station)
Power 98 is an English radio station of So Drama! Entertainment in Singapore. It is a 24-hour English entertainment station which features contemporary pop music and the latest entertainment news and sports updates. The station underwent its first major revamp in 18 years on 19 March 2012, which includes changing its slogan from ''Hit Music and More'' to ''Hear The Difference'', an overhaul of the station's website and a new line-up of DJs and programmes. SAFRA National Service Association
SAFRA National Service Association is an organisation that was formed as a social and recreational club for National Servicemen from the Singapore Armed Forces. It was originally formed in 1972 as the "Singapore Armed Forces Reservist Association". History SAFRA was started on 2 July 1972 and was launched by, then Defence Minister of Singapore, Dr Goh Keng Swee. From 1996 to 2012 (Sunday 17 June, Fathers Day) SAFRA and Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) co-organized the ''National Runway Cycling & Skating'' at Paya Lebar Air Base with 6,000–8,000 participants. FM stations There are 3 radio broadcasters and 19 radio stations in Singapore in total; 12 are owned by Mediacorp, 2 are owned by So Drama! Entertainment, and 5 are owned by SPH Media Trust. In Singapore, listeners are able to tune into BBC World Service, easily available 24/7 through long-term agreement with Mediacorp Radio via their transmitter in Bukit Batok, therefore, BBC World Service is also regarded as one of Mediacorp's radio channels since it is aired under its broadcast network. Residents are also able to receive FM broadcasts from Malaysia (based in Johor Bharu) and Indonesia (based in Batam City/Tanjungpinang) if the signal is strong enough.
