Power (B.A.P EP)
Power is the second single album by South Korean boy band, B.A.P. It was released digitally on April 27, 2012, and contains four tracks. The lead single, "Power", was released the same day. Release and promotion B.A.P released the EP ''Power'' and the music video for its lead single, "Power", on April 27, 2012, followed by promotions on music shows. A physical release of the EP occurred on May 3, 2012. In the music video, B.A.P members portray more strength in their choreography and lyrics than in their debut song "Warrior". An 18-meter tall and 700-kilogram spaceship are visible in the video. The video was directed by Hong Won-ki of ZanyBros, who also directed their music video, "Warrior". B.A.P first performed "Power" on ''Music Bank'' on April 27, 2012, followed by performances on ''Music Core'', MTV's ''The Show'', and SBS' ''Inkigayo''. Contemporary R&B
Contemporary R&B (or simply R&B) is a popular music genre that combines rhythm and blues with elements of pop, soul, funk, hip hop, and electronic music. The genre features a distinctive record production style, drum machine-backed rhythms, pitch corrected vocals, and a smooth, lush style of vocal arrangement. Electronic influences are becoming an increasing trend and the use of hip hop or dance-inspired beats are typical, although the roughness and grit inherent in hip hop may be reduced and smoothed out. Hardcore Rap
Hardcore hip hop (also hardcore rap) is a genre of hip hop music that developed through the East Coast hip hop scene in the 1980s. Pioneered by such artists as Run-DMC, Schoolly D, Boogie Down Productions and Public Enemy, it is generally characterized by anger, aggression and confrontation. Korean (South Korean: , ''hangugeo''; North Korean: , ''chosŏnmal'') is the native language for about 80 million people, mostly of Korean descent. Bang Yong-guk
Bang Yong-guk (born March 31, 1990), also known mononymously as Yongguk, is a South Korean rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, and best-selling author who served as the leader of boy group B.A.P up until his departure from TS Entertainment in August 2018. He made his musical debut in 2008 as a member of an underground hip hop group called Soul Connection under the alias of "Jepp Blackman". SBS M is a South Korean pay television music channel owned by SBS Medianet, a division of SBS Media Holdings. ''Allkpop'' (stylized in all lowercase) is an American website which features Korean pop and gossip news. Launched on October 30, 2007, it is based in Edgewater, New Jersey, and is owned and operated by its parent company 6Theory Media. ''Allkpop'' is one of the most trafficked K-pop news sites, with over seven and half million readers per month. In its list of useful websites, ''The Korea Herald'' called it the "fastest news breaker" for K-pop. Despite the praise, some detractors accused the website for inciting racism and xenophobia towards Koreans, and Southeast Asians, by Korean netizens itself, exacerbated by the economic differences between those two regions which is a primary cause of contention.
