PowerShot G9 X Mark II
The Canon PowerShot G9 X Mark II was released by Canon in February 2017. It kept the small size of previous PowerShot models, making it 3 grams lighter than its predecessor. It replaced the Digic 6 processor with a Digic 7 processor, making the camera operations faster. It features a 1.0-inch, 20.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor.https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/products/details/cameras/point-and-shoot-digital-cameras/advanced-cameras/powershot-g9-x-mark-ii The camera is in the Canon PowerShot G series. DIGIC
Digital Imaging Integrated Circuit (often styled as "DiG!C") is Canon Inc.'s name for a family of signal processing and control units for digital cameras and camcorders. DIGIC units are used as image processors by Canon in its own digital imaging products. Several generations of DIGICs exist, and are distinguished by a version number suffix. Currently, DIGIC is implemented as an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) designed to perform high speed signal processing as well as the control operations in the product in which it has been incorporated. Over its numerous generations, DIGIC has evolved from a system involving a number of discrete integrated circuits to a single chip system, many of which are based around the ARM instruction set. Custom firmware for these units has been developed to add features to the cameras. DIGIC in Cameras Original DIGIC The original DIGIC was used on the PowerShot G3 (Sep 2002), Canon S1 IS (Mar 2004), A520 (Mar 2005), and other came ...

CMOS Sensor
An active-pixel sensor (APS) is an image sensor where each pixel sensor unit cell has a photodetector (typically a pinned photodiode) and one or more active transistors. In a metal–oxide–semiconductor (MOS) active-pixel sensor, MOS field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) are used as amplifiers. There are different types of APS, including the early NMOS APS and the now much more common complementary MOS (CMOS) APS, also known as the CMOS sensor. CMOS sensors are used in digital camera technologies such as cell phone cameras, web cameras, most modern digital pocket cameras, most digital single-lens reflex cameras (DSLRs), and mirrorless interchangeable-lens cameras (MILCs). CMOS sensors emerged as an alternative to charge-coupled device (CCD) image sensors and eventually outsold them by the mid-2000s decade. The term ''active pixel sensor'' is also used to refer to the individual pixel sensor itself, as opposed to the image sensor. In this case, the image sensor is sometimes cal ...

Canon PowerShot G
The Canon PowerShot G is a series of digital cameras introduced by Canon in its PowerShot line in 2000. The G series cameras are Canon's flagship compact models aimed at photography enthusiasts desiring more flexibility than a point-and-shoot without the bulk of a digital single-lens reflex camera. The G series has a lithium-ion battery, full manual exposure control, an articulated LCD screen (G7, G9, G10, G15, and G16 have a fixed screen), Raw image format capture (all models except G7), a lens with a wider maximum aperture than standard PowerShot models, remote capture (except G11), and faster image processing. The range also includes a hot shoe (except G7 X and G9 X) for an external flashgun, including Canon's EX range. New models in the series have larger sensors than most other point-and-shoot cameras ( G1X, G1X Mark II, G7X). Main specifications G1 to G6 Common features across the early G series were: * A fast lens (minimum F number of 2.0). * A flip out and twist LCD ...

List Of Large Sensor Fixed-lens Cameras
This is a list of digital cameras with a fixed (non- interchangeable) lens and a 1.0-type (“1-inch”) image sensor or larger, excluding smartphones and camcorders. Many of these cameras are also known as high-end point-and-shoot cameras or premium compact cameras. Cameras with a prime lens The Leica Q series, Fujifilm X100 series, and Ricoh GR series are popular cameras in this category. Cameras with a zoom lens Almost all zoom models with larger sensors have been discontinued in favor of their interchangeable lens counterparts that offer more flexibility. Current compact models market themselves as vlogging cameras (e.g. Sony ZV-1 series and Canon G7 X series) or travel zoom cameras (e.g. Sony RX100 series and Panasonic ZS series), highlighting functionality that smartphone cameras still lack. The largest models are bridge cameras (e.g. Sony RX10 series and Panasonic FZ series) that includ ...
