Portugal In The Eurovision Song Contest 2015
Portugal participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Há um mar que nos separa" written by Miguel Gameiro. The song was performed by Leonor Andrade. The Portuguese broadcaster Rádio e Televisão de Portugal (RTP) organised the national final '' Festival da Canção 2015'' in order to select the Portuguese entry for the 2015 contest in Vienna, Austria. After two semi-finals and a final which took place in March 2015, "Há um mar que nos separa" performed by Leonor Andrade emerged as the winner after receiving the most public televotes. Portugal was drawn to compete in the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest which took place on 21 May 2015. Performing during the show in position 7, "Há um mar que nos separa" was not announced among the top 10 entries of the first semi-final and therefore did not qualify to compete in the final. Leonor Andrade
Leonor Margarida Coelho Andrade, also known as Ella Nor (born 13 September 1994) is a Portuguese singer and actress. She represented Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Há um mar que nos separa". Career In 2014, Andrade participated in season two of ''The Voice Portugal''. She was eliminated on episode 13. After ''The Voice'', Andrade joined the cast of RTP1 telenovela '' Água de Mar'', where she played Joana Luz. On 19 February 2015, Andrade was announced as one of the twelve participants of Festival da Canção 2015 with the song "Há um mar que nos separa". Suzy (singer)
Susana Guerra (born 24 January 1980), known professionally as Suzy Guerra and formerly Suzy, is a Portuguese singer and former flight attendant. She represented Portugal in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark with the song " Quero ser tua". Early life Suzy was born in Figueira da Foz. The Eurovision Song Contest 1965 was the tenth edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. Simone de Macedo e Oliveira, GCIH • GMC (born 11 February 1938) better known as Simone de Oliveira is a Portuguese singer and actress. Sara Alexandra Lima Tavares (born 1 February 1978) is a Portugal, Portuguese singer, composer, guitarist and percussionist. She was born and brought up in Lisbon, Portugal, where she still lives. Fernando Fromm-Abrantes (born 1960) is a German-Portuguese producer and musician. Background He is a former member/keyboardist of the electronic/experimental pop band Kraftwerk. He went to the German school in Lisbon. After finishing school he moved to Germany and studied music and electronics in Düsseldorf together with Kraftwerk members Fritz Hilpert and Henning Schmitz.
