Portmore, Jamaica
Portmore is a large urban settlement located along the southeastern coast of Jamaica in Saint Catherine, and a dormitory community for the neighbouring cities of Kingston and Spanish Town. Geography Portmore is on the south coast in the Parish of St. Catherine. It is approximately 15 miles south-west of the capital of Kingston. Floyd West (born 13 December 1980), also known as the Pied Piper, is a contemporary Reggae roots singer and songwriter from Jamaica. Born and raised in Portmore Saint Catherine, Floyd started music from an early age singing in a church choir. He was encouraged by his mother and sister who also sang in the local choir. May Pen
May Pen is the capital and largest town in the parish of Clarendon in Middlesex County, Jamaica. It is located on the Rio Minho river (Jamaica's longest), and is a major market centre for the Parish. Windel Beneto Edwards (born 25 October 1983), better known by his stage name Gyptian (), is a Jamaican reggae singer. He often appears with roots reggae songs within the reggae subgenre dancehall.
