Porta Genova is a station on Line 2 of the Milan Metro. It was opened on 30 October 1983 as the terminus and part of the extension of the line from Cadorna. On 3 April 1985 the line was extended to Romolo. Valenza ( pms, Valensa) is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Alessandria in the Italian region Piedmont, located about east of Turin and about north of Alessandria. Casale Monferrato () is a town in the Piedmont region of Italy, in the province of Alessandria. It is situated about east of Turin on the right bank of the Po, where the river runs at the foot of the Montferrat hills. Beyond the river lies the vast plain of the Po valley.
