Port Curtis
Port Curtis is a suburb of Rockhampton in the Rockhampton Region, Queensland, Australia. In the , Port Curtis had a population of 281 people. Geography The Fitzroy River bounds the suburb to the north-east. Gavial Creek, a tributary of the Fitzroy River, flows through the locality with their confluence at the north of the suburb. The land is flat and low-lying (less than 10 metres above sea level). The North Coast railway line passes along the western edge of the locality with the junction with the Central Western railway line at Rocklands railway station () within Port Curtis. As at January 2021, very little of the land has been developed with only a few small pockets of residential and industrial use. History Port Curtis Road State School opened on 23 March 1875. Ford Telstar
The Ford Telstar is an automobile that was sold by Ford in Asia, Australasia and Africa, comparable in size to the European Ford Sierra and the North American Ford Tempo. It was progressively replaced by the Ford Mondeo. It was named after the Telstar satellite. Like the smaller Ford Laser, the Telstar was based on a model produced by Mazda in Japan. It shared its platform with the Mazda Capella/626, the differences being confined to some styling, engine sizes, and specification. The first model was launched in Japan in 1982. The North Coast railway line is a 1067 mm railway line in Queensland, Australia. The Fitzroy River (Darumbal: ''Toonooba'') is a river located in Central Queensland, Australia. Its catchment covers an area of , making it the largest river catchment flowing to the eastern coast of Australia. It is also the largest river basin that discharges onto the Great Barrier Reef.
