Corina Porro
María Corina Porro Martínez (born 1 December 1953) is a Spanish politician. She was a member of the Vigo local government with the Galician People's Party between 1995 and 1999. She was Chief Director of Social Services between 1999 and 2001. She became a deputy in the Parliament of Galicia and Councillor of Social Services in the 2002-2003 period. In 2003 Corina Porro was elected mayor of Vigo in 2003 after a censure motion against the socialist Ventura Pérez Mariño approved by 10 members from Galician People's Party and seven from Bloque Nacionalista Galego and rejected by eight members of Socialists' Party of Galicia and two from Progresistas Vigueses. Ricardo Porro Hidalgo (November 1925 – 25 December 2014) was a Cuban-born architect. He graduated in architecture from the Universidad de la Habana ( University of Havana) in 1949 and built this year his first project Villa Armenteros in Havana, following which he spent two years in post-graduate studies at the Institute of Urbanism at the Sorbonne. Career Back to Cuba, in 1952, he conceived and made in Havana a serie of works of architecture: Villa Ennis (1953), Villa San Miguel (1953), Villa Villegas (1953), la casa Garcia (1954), the house Abbot-Villegas (1954) and Timothy Ennis (1957)his work took on distinctive Organic tendencies. Pierre Jean Porro
Pierre-Jean Porro (7 December 1750 – 31 May 1831) was an influential French classical guitarist, composer and music publisher. Life Porro was born in Bagnols, Provence, France, with the French surname ''Porre'', later italianising his name according to the fashion of the time. He received his early musical training in Béziers before moving to Paris in 1783. There he taught guitar and worked as a music publisher. By 1786, responding to the increased demand for printed music, Porro expanded his publishing house and diversified into musical instrument sales. He was also an editor and publisher of various journals such as the weekly ''Le Journal de Guitare'' (1787–1803) in which he published his own compositions as well as French editions of the works of Italian composers such as Francesco Durante, Jommelli, Giovanni Battista Pergolesi in addition to those of the composers of his time such as Mozart and Haydn. Pedro Antonio Porro Sauceda (; born 13 September 1999) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right back or right winger for club Tottenham Hotspur, on loan from Primeira Liga club Sporting CP, and the Spain national team. He started his career with Girona's reserve team Peralda, before being promoted to the first team in 2017. In 2019, Porro signed for Premier League side Manchester City for a reported fee of €13 million (£11 million). He was loaned to La Liga side Real Valladolid and then Portuguese Primeira Liga club Sporting on an initial two-year loan deal. Luigi Porro Lambertenghi
Count Luigi Renato Porro-Lambertenghi (July 12, 1780 in Como – February 9, 1860 in Milan) was an Italian nationalist, businessman, and politician. He was the son of politician and essayist Luigi Lambertenghi (1739–1813). He inherited Villa del Balbianello in 1796 from his uncle, Cardinal Angelo Maria Durini. Among his guests were Silvio Pellico, who tutored Lambertenghi's two sons there. He was forced to leave Italy in March 1821, while in Milan, as the Austrian Empire, Austrian police were rounding up everyone suspected of conspiring against the government. His escape was effected by Timothy Yeats Brown, who drove out of Milan with Lambertenghi disguised as his footman. He fled to Geneva, and made his way to England in early 1822 via Paris, where Yeats Brown vouched for him at the Alien Office. When he was forced to leave Italy, Lambertenghi sold the villa to his friend, Giuseppe Visconti di Modrone, grandfather of Luchino Visconti.
