Tom Ward is a British film, stage and television actor. Career Ward is chiefly known for his role as Dr. Harry Cunningham in the long-running forensic drama series ''Silent Witness'', a role he played for 10 years. Jonathan Bratoëff (born 1974 in France) is a Berlin-based guitarist. Bratoëff is a member and co-founder of the F-IRE Collective. He has released several albums on the F-IRE Collective's own label, and has also played with musicians like Julian Siegel, Soweto Kinch, and Orphy Robinson. F-IRE Collective
F-IRE Collective is a creative music community. The Collective also has a record label. In 2004, F-IRE Collective won the BBC Jazz Award for Innovation. Details F-IRE (Fellowship for Integrated Rhythmic Expression) was named later in 1998 and came to encompass a community of artists whose outlook stretched beyond 'music alone'. Dance, poetry, film and other modes of creative expression were as much a part of their artistic conception as the sound they produced. F-IRE members attempt to cultivate their own directions and transcend categorical boundaries, circus or electronica, free improvisation or classical composition. Guy Wood
Guy B. Wood (24 July 1911 – 23 February 2001) was a musician and songwriter born in Manchester, England. Wood started his career in music playing saxophone in dance bands in England. He moved to the United States in the 1930s, where he worked for Paramount Pictures and Columbia Pictures as well as serving as bandleader at the Arcadia Ballroom in New York. His songs include "Till Then", "My One and Only Love", " Shoo-Fly Pie and Apple Pan Dowdy". His song "Till Then" reached the pop charts three times (in 1944, 1954, and 1963). Wood also wrote songs for Captain Kangaroo and the Radio City Music Hall. Wood died on 23 February 2001. Help Musicians (formerly Musicians Benevolent Fund), is a United Kingdom charity offering help for musicians throughout their careers. History It was created by Victor Beigel in 1921 as the Gervase Elwes Memorial Fund, following the death of English tenor Gervase Elwes. It was renamed as the Musicians Benevolent Fund in 1926 and became a registered charity. Until his death in 1934, Edward Elgar was the fund's president. During World War II the fund was supported by proceeds from daily concerts in the National Gallery, London, organized by Myra Hess. Help Musicians UK launched Music Minds Matter in 2017, after work led by George Musgrave. This was the first 24/7 mental health helpline for musicians.
