Marc Rothemund
Marc Rothemund (born 26 August 1968) is a German film director. He is the son of the film director Sigi Rothemund and the brother of the actress Nina Rothemund. He began his career as an assistant for his father and then began to direct episodes for TV series. His first feature film was the 1998 production ''Das merkwürdige Verhalten geschlechtsreifer Großstädter zur Paarungszeit''. In 2005 he directed the film ''Sophie Scholl – The Final Days'', written by Fred Breinersdorfer, which was nominated for the 78th Academy Awards Best Foreign Language Film and received numerous other awards, including the Silver Bear for Best Director at the Berlin International Film Festival. Benno Fürmann
Benjamin "Benno" Fürmann (; born 17 January 1972) is a German film and television actor. He is known for his lead role in the 2008 film ''The North Face'', where he plays Toni Kurz based on the 1936 Eiger climbing disaster in Switzerland. Life and work Fürmann was born in Berlin-Kreuzberg. By the age of 15 he had lost both his parents. At 17, he had a serious accident while train surfing, and had to spend six weeks in the hospital as a result. Fürmann left school after his Mittlere Reife and after that worked as a waiter and a bouncer. In 1991 he went to New York City and studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Fürmann has a daughter and lives in Berlin, in the neighborhood of Prenzlauer Berg. Mustafa Gundogdu ( tr, Mustafa Gündoğdu ; born 2 October 1966), best known under his stage name Mousse T., is a German-Turkish DJ, record producer, film composer and judge on season 15 of ''Deutschland sucht den Superstar'', the German version of ''Pop Idol''. He is best known for the 1998 house hit "Horny '98" (famous for the hook "I'm horny") and for his collaboration with Tom Jones on the 2000 hit " Sex Bomb", from Jones' 1999 album '' Reload''. Bernd Eichinger (; 11 April 194924 January 2011) was a German film producer, director, and screenwriter. Life and career Eichinger was born in Neuburg an der Donau. He attended the University of Television and Film Munich in the 1970s and bought a stake in the fledgling studio company ''Neue Constantin Film'' in 1979, becoming its executive director. Under his leadership, Constantin Film evolved into one of the most successful German film businesses. Karoline Herfurth (; born 22 May 1984) is a German actress. Life and career Herfurth was born in East Berlin, East Germany, the daughter of a psychologist mother and a geriatric nurse practitioner father. Her parents divorced when she was two years old. She grew up in Berlin with a brother and five half-brothers and -sisters. She went to a Waldorf school in Berlin and graduated from Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts. She learnt to play the recorder and studied sociology and political sciences. Tom Schilling (born 10 February 1982) is a German film and television actor. Life and acting career Schilling grew up in the formerly East German borough of Berlin Mitte.
