Deny (band)
Deny was an Argentine post-hardcore band based in Buenos Aires. History 2007–2011 DENY was formed in 2007 in Buenos Aires. The current line up of DENY consists of Nazareno Gomez (vocals), Joaquín Ortega (guitar, vocals), Mateo Sevillano (guitar), Juan Pablo Uberti (bass guitar, vocals), Agustín Dupuis (drums) and Jonathan Perez (keyboard). DENY released their debut EP entitled ''La Distancia'' in 2009 via Inmune Records. The EP was recorded by Javier Casas of Argentine hardcore punk band Nueva Ética and Matias Espinoza the vocalist of Dar Sangre. The band shared stage with Silverstein and Alesana during the "Super Rock de Capital Federal" on February 11, 2009. DENY promoted their EP in the Buenos Aires area the rest of the year. Sound recording and reproduction is the electrical, mechanical, electronic, or digital inscription and re-creation of sound waves, such as spoken voice, singing, instrumental music, or sound effects. The two main classes of sound recording technology are analog recording and digital recording. Sound recording is the transcription of invisible vibrations in air onto a storage medium such as a phonograph disc. La Distancia (translated: The Distance) is the debut EP of Argentine Post hardcore act Deny originally released in 2009 via Inmune Records. The EP was re-released on February 24, 2012, via Pinhead Records. Metalcore
Metalcore (also known as metallic hardcore) is a fusion music genre that combines elements of extreme metal and hardcore punk. As with other styles blending metal and hardcore, such as crust punk and grindcore, metalcore is noted for its use of breakdowns, slow, intense passages conducive to moshing. Other defining instrumental qualities include heavy riffs and stop-start rhythm guitar playing, occasional blast beats, and double bass drumming.
