Augusto Ponzio (born 17 February 1942) is an Italian semiologist and philosopher. Since 1980 is Full Professor of Philosophy of Language at Bari University, Italy and since 2015 is Professor Emeritus at the same university. He has made a significant contribution as editor and translator to the dissemination of the ideas of Pietro Ispano, Mikhail Bakhtin, Emmanuel Lévinas, Karl Marx, Ferruccio Rossi-Landi, Adam Schaff and Thomas Albert Sebeok, in Italy and abroad. Ben Ponzio (born 1975) sells radio advertising for Chicago's WTMX-FM, WSHE-FM, and WDRV-FM radio. Facundo Agustín Ponzio (born 14 November 1995) is an Argentinian footballer who plays for CF Badalona in Spain, on loan from Instituto, as a forward. Flaminio Ponzio (1560–1613) was an Italian architect during the late-Renaissance or so-called Mannerist period, serving in Rome as the architect for Pope Paul V. Jean-Michel Ponzio (born 30 January 1967) is a French comics artist and illustrator. Biography In 1985 he received a degree as technical designer in Marseille. In the following year he studied at the School of Applied Arts and Jobs in Paris, and, in 1989, he obtained a further degree in "communication images" at Toulouse. His first short movie, ''Aller Retour'', was broadcast by Canal+ and won an award at the Festival of Gerardmer in 1991. Leonardo Daniel Ponzio (born 29 January 1982) is an Argentinian former footballer who played mainly as a defensive midfielder. After starting out at Newell's Old Boys in 2000, he went on to spend his professional career with Zaragoza and River Plate, appearing in 246 competitive matches with the former club and winning the 2004 Copa del Rey, adding several more accolades during his two spells with the latter and going on to be one of the most decorated players in their history.
