The Pontevedra Bus Station (''Estación de Autobuses de Pontevedra'') is a bus station in Pontevedra (Spain) that allows inter-city bus traffic, with national or international destinations. Location The Pontevedra bus station is located in the southern part of the city, on Estación Avenue, opposite the Pontevedra railway station, railway station, next to the Gafos river. It is 400 metres from the PO-10 ring road and close to the Autopista AP-9, AP-9 motorway. History Since the Spanish Civil War, post-war years, in the 1940s, Pontevedra had been asking for a bus station to centralise the transport of passengers by coach, in accordance with its status as a provincial capital.
